Self-Funded Group Dental Plans. What?!

Did you know that over 40% of employees do not utilize their dental benefits over the course of the year? And even more of those employees don't hit their annual maximum. So why are you paying such high premiums for dental care?

As an employer, our responsibility is to be able to provide affordable service to our employees at a reasonable value. I was talking to a vendor earlier this week about the opportunity to self fund an employee dental program. Using a dental network, you can charge your employees your monthly premium, and then you the employer would receive the bill for the claims. You would pay the claims and that would be it. There wouldn't be any unused funds, there wouldn't be any questions about usability or claims.

I'm Niki Trentacosta and I work with small businesses, employers and startups to create employee benefits that are strategic and affordable. I'd love to talk to you about self funding your group dental program and learn the ins and outs of what that means for you as the business owner. I can be reached at thetannagroup.com and on social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter. Until we do speak, I hope that you stay happy, stay healthy, and of course, be sure to wash your hands.
